A Hard Rock Hotel and Café is coming to Daytona Beach, and it will be just a five-minute stroll (yes, we timed it) from the DRC! The new $100 million+ property will be 375,000 square feet with 100 condo units, 250 hotel rooms, 28,000 square feet of ballroom and banquet space, a spa, gift shop with rock star memorabilia, a recording studio, café, and of course live rock music.
The Hard Rock property will be right on the beach, to be built on a large vacant lot north of Silver Beach and just south of SunSplash Park. Expected completion is in time for the Daytona 500, in 2016.
As you might imagine, local commercial real estate agents are going crazy right now, and our office phone has also been ringing more than usual.
We are very optimistic about this Big News and couldn't wait to share it with you. We feel that this development will spark investment in our neighborhood, with more upscale restaurants and attractions being built on existing vacant land and replacing aging properties. DRC owners and guests will benefit from our new neighbor in so many ways. As a vacation destination, we'll have so much more to offer than ever before! Again, Hard Rock Hotel and Cafe will be just a short stroll north along Atlantic Avenue.

and family to do the same?" We at DRC couldn't agree more that now is
